Pop Art and a Pickle
July, 2024
The idea of visiting Pittsburgh has been brewing in my head since last year. I just couldn't find a suitable occasion. Parks, museums, and gardens were available every day, and without time constraints the trip was being postponed over and over again. But then I came across an information about the annual Picklesburg festival and decided to go and check it out.
Several hours on the road, though, changed my initial plan. I felt less interested in spending a day among people and pickles, and more inclined to explore pop art in the Andy Warhol Museum. But I have no regrets: a giant inflatable pickle was really an excuse for the trip, rather than its ultimate destination.
