The President Heads
April, 2025
A unique collection was created for an outdoor park. But a few years after its opening, the enterprise went bankrupt, dooming the giant busts to a slow decay by a recycling facility.
Their condition is worsening every year. They are slowly sinking into the mud, crumble and errode. This slow process is not completely unattended: once in a while the property owners organize tours and photography workshops.
This process will last for a while, I think, but before it is too late, I decided to come and see these sculptures in their current state.
